BOARD NEWS

   The Board held a special meeting on 10/1/03 at 36 Glen Lake Drive to review the Reserve Account funding. All Board members were in attendance in addition to residents Roger Axt (#13), Carol Rutherford (#36), and Rick Busman (#71). The Board agreed to proceed with installing gutters in order to preserve the life of the roofs. In the future, the Reserve Account will need additional funding beyond what it currently receives.

   The Board’s regular monthly meeting was held October 21, 2003 at Shoreline Office Building. All Board members were in attendance in addition to residents Pat and Sandy Claus (#7), Roger Axt (#13), Rick Busman (#71),  Ken Morley (#86), and Greta Harpham (#96).

   Treasurer Ray reported that we were over-budget for September due to one-time expenses. The board approved a motion to build a $50,000 safety net into future Reserve Studies. Attaining this safety net will require an increase in dues in the future. The Finance Review Committee will give a presentation at the Annual Meeting next month. 

RAIN GUTTER WORK

   Is scheduled to start November 1^st. If you hear someone on your roof, please don’t be alarmed. Sun Rain will not require access nor should they present any inconvenience. If possible, they will notify you before beginning work on your building. Thank you for your cooperation. 

ANNUAL MEETING 

Our annual meeting will be held on Thursday, November 6th at 7 PM at the Shoreline Office Building (right outside the Upper Glen’s gate), 1200 Piedmont, in the first floor meeting room. Three directors will be elected. Voting will be cumulative (you can vote for one person 3 times or 3 people one time). Come prepared to vote. If you need a ride, call Jack Rutherford. If you are walking up the hill, carry a flashlight.
