Dear Neighbors and Friends of The Glen,

I hope this note finds you all well and enjoying our lovely weather, although unseasonably warm and dry for this time of year.

As you all are aware, we are in a drought mode with impending water restrictions likely as dry conditions are forecast to continue.  Because of this situation, The Board of Directors has decided to remove the majority, if not all of the grass in The Glen.  It will be replaced with drought tolerant plantings and a drip irrigation system.

Rest assured, The Board will do our best to make the Glen of Pacific Grove as drought tolerant as we possibly can with respect to our common areas.

Here are some suggestions to help reduce your personal water bills:

Replace your showerheads, sink aerators, hose nozzles, toilets, washing and dishwashing machines with water-saving, low flow devices.  You may contact the Cal-Am office at 511 Forest Lodge Rd., Suite 100, Pacific Grove, or the Monterey Peninsula Water Management District at 5 Harris Ct., Monterey to obtain more information.

Sincerely,
Diane Hardcastle, President
The Glen of Pacific Grove H.O.A.
