3.0      AGENDA REVIEW / RESIDENT REQUESTS

–        Connie says #14 has a “For Rent” sign affixed to its garage door; do Rules and Regulations govern this situation?

–        Faye says an SUV is racing down her side of Glen Lake Drive.

–        Rodger says gutters on the two-story units are plugged with leaves.

4.0   APPROVAL OF MINUTES – Motion by Grossman, seconded by Pollock, to accept minutes from 11/21/06 Board Meeting. Motion carried.

5.0   REPORTS

5.01          FINANCIAL REPORTS - Grossman reviewed all the association certificate of deposits, maturity dates, and interest rates.(a) resolutions re World Savings and Monterey County Bank were adopted by the board on 12/13/06; (b) 80K was moved from SJNB to a 7 month CD with World Savings at 5.26% (APY of 5.4%) and 50K was moved from SJNB to Monterey County Bank (30K is at 4.79% (APY of  4.85%) and matures on 6/8/07; 20K is at 5.35% and matures 12/13/07). Union Bank and 1st National (5% for 6 months) were ruled out as investment options because Union changed its terms from 90 days to 180 and a non-competitive rate and 1st National required all board members to be signatories on any account.      

5.02          NEW RESIDENT INFORMATION REPORT – Lynn Bomberger reported no new residents.

5.03          WEBSITE REPORT – Grossman reported he met with Ken Morley yesterday.

5.04          GARDENING REPORT - Pollock reported nothing new. 

5.05          MAINTENANCE REPORT - Rugar reported nothing new.

 

5.06          LAKE REPORT - no lake report.

 

5.07          WILDLIFE CONTROL REPORT – Rugar reports nothing new.

5.08          ARCHITECTURAL CONTROL REPORT - No report.

5.09          NEWSLETTER ITEMS – Pollock requested articles.

5.10          RULE COMPLIANCE REPORT: Rugar reports nothing new.

6.0        UNFINISHED BUSINESS:

6.01          2852 Forest Hills Blvd. – Axt says he tried unsuccessfully to contact the owner. Our fence has not been repaired and the drainage pipe still is directed onto our property. Axt will contact the City.

6.02          Landscape Irrigation Consultation – Rugar will meet with others next month.

6.03          Annual Audit – deferred to next board meeting.

6.04          Utilities/Water – Rugar reported he is still trying to meet with Steve Leonard of CalAm.

6.05          Seal Coat on Glen Lake Drive – Rugar advises this will be done in the Spring.

6.06          Election Results – Inspector Morley reported that the Election Committee (consisting of himself, Connie Shelstad, and Wolfgang Haas) counted 44 votes for Rodger Axt for director, 43 votes for Glen Grossman for director, and one vote for Betty Lauritsen for director. Rodger Axt and Glen Grossman were certified as new directors for the 2007-2009 term.

7.0        NEW BUSINESS – none

8.0        CORRESPONDENCE – none.

9.0        FUTURE BOARD MEETING / ADJOURNMENT – 1/16/07 at 6:00 p.m. at the Forest Grove HOA Clubhouse, Forest Lodge Road, Pacific Grove, CA.
